First off, I always give this little tid bit when asked about gift giving when it involves couples. Go cheaper on the actual gift, and spend some money for the two of you to go out and do something. But since you guys are so young, going somewhere might not be an option.
As far as gifts go, you might want to get something sentimental. Maybe the first movie you guys saw together in theaters?..get him that DVD. Or if he's a gamer, save up and get him the game (and game guide) for that new game he's been wanting.
Something else fun might be to mark your anniversary with getting your picture taken together at Sears or something. (I don't know where you're located)
Or even throw him a party maybe. Get all of you guy's friends together, let the guys hook up a couple TV's and play Halo, and the girls can go bowling or something.
Sometimes doing something is better than getting something.

How about an mp3 player? A cheaper version of ipod? He likes music right? Make sure his favorite songs are loaded in it. That's personalized. Or how about a perfume or cologne? It need not be very expensive but genuine. Something that will smell great on him. Just in case you opt for a branded cologne, buy the small, handy size. It's still cute and will cut the cost.

Hahaha, good answers guys... Video games, haha, i love video games, but i dont know what your boyfriend would like. What are his hobbies and stuff like that. It will be easier for us to tell you what to get him if you tell us some of the stuff he is into. As of now, i say get him some massaging oil so that you 2 can use his present right away for a AROMA-ntic night. ;)

That depends on how much you plan on spending. How about a DVD of one of your favorite movies that you saw together and would like to see again? You can make a little "movie theme" out of it...include bags of microwave popcorn, and some of his favorite "movie candy."
