What is wrong with it is the whole premise of being in a position of judgement over someone else, especially as the fundamentalist or true bible followers should have read far enough in the New testament to know we are all sinners and none of my sins are any less sinful than the next person. And I am pretty sure God was peeved when people did this back in the day...why would he want or need anyone who came to them simply to extend their pitiful lives a few more years? I would think he would respect a person more for being honest about it. And anyway, No habla espanol.

The Inquisition had nothing to do with Christianity, unless you include the hundreds of thousands of non-catholic Christians who were imprisoned, tortured, and burned at the stake. The Inquisition was about power and control. Those believers resisted the Romanists for good reason.

Red eye, have you been "saved", then the spanish inquisition Wants you. After torturing you to force your confession of faith they would kill you so you could not backslide. Do you really think that was a good idea???

people who think of the church homes would not enable the inquisition to happen as quickly as greater are deceiving themselves . little or no has replaced & if the church homes the place given the means it ought to happen lower back , seem on the way Christians attack different Christians in this internet site , won't manage to you sense the dislike in direction of Mormons , Jehovah's Witness , even in direction of Jews & Muslims

Eh...the inquisition wasn't a good idea. More than half the people accused weren't even guilty, and the rest could have been more effectively witnessed to through means other than torture.

God want us to have the free will to choose to follow him or not. There the Inquisition was a bad thing since it tried to force people to convert when it was good decision.

Dude - show me where exactly in the New Testament it says to go and torture people! Just because I say I am a Christian, it doesn't automatically follow that if I killed someone that God condoned it.

They're doing the same thing now, but instead of physical torture, it's mental, political, financial.......
