Aargh scary!! Im exactly the same age, height and weight as you to the pound and inch!So this one struck a chord.
I know i am obviously a bit biased but you sound absolutely perfect to me, i too get told by "larger" people that i am too skinny but these comments are from the same people who go to my gym to achieve the same results as me so just remember that!! There is probably a bit of jealousy behind these comments whether they would admit to it or not!
What people forget is there is a BIG difference between "skinny" and "healthy". Skinny to me means someone who doesnt eat doesnt excercise and starves themselves for the sake of being thin. Healthy to me means someone who eats sensibly, excercises and generally looks after their body. To me you sound like the latter of the two so don't worry what other people say i bet you look gorgeous hun!
Just remember as long as you look after your self and eat sensibly your body will determine your own natural weight some people just arent meant to be larger!
(us slim girls have to stick together afterall!)

You are thin, but you don't NEED to gain weight. If you are eating healthy and regularly, you shouldn't have to worry. Some people have fast metabolisms.
I think you are a fine size and, unless you don't eat, gaining weight shouldn't concern you too much.
However, if you do not eat very much, then you probably should eat more and gain some weight.
I'm 23. I have a friend the same age who is your height and weight. She's skinny but healthy because she has a fast metabolsm. She eats regularly and doesn't need to gain weight. I hope this helps!

I'm not in my 20's.
I don't care.
u should judge the answers on their merits.
anywhere between 8-9 stone is fine.
I could not allow ur question to go by without saying u should try to worry a lot less.
u can make urself ill worrying about a few pounds or a few inches.
the most important thing is to look healthy, i.e skin colour, feel and look of hair and not to feel tired most of the time.
ur own body is a wonderful thing. it tells u when things are good because u feel alive and probably look it too.
i don't think u should be fatter, i think u should be happier.
relax and enjoy ur life.

Any finished organic meals. I consume no longer something yet culmination, greens, beans and finished grains. No meat. No dairy. considering i'm no longer determining, my submit-start weight relief isn't speedy, yet 2 months later, I basically have seven pounds to flow. Now, I do perform a little issues like I did the day in the previous right this moment. I unnecessasrily had a pair of slices of cinnamon toast (on no account innovations i became into making use of all organic clever stability, I nonetheless did no longer choose it), and an all organic peanut chocolate granola bar that I additionally fairly did no longer choose. Eh. a minimum of i will in effective condition into one pair of non-maternity denims and one pair of pants. i do no longer count variety energy, yet I do seem at what i'm ingesting and how a lot. Like the day in the previous right this moment, while i found out that i did no longer choose 2 slices of bread. (I wasn't thinking and could have provided one to my husband.) I knew i did no longer choose the granola bar, yet I took it besides. Eh. right this moment is a sparkling day. besides, each thing moderately.

Well..I'm younger actually, I'm still in my teens..I think you should gain about 10 lbs, your weight does sound unhealthy.
http://www.halls.md/body-mass-index/bmi.htm
The link above, if you enter your information, states that you are only in the 7th percentile which is severely underweight. You should be a curvier, but don't worry about that right now..I might talk to a doctor or another professional who knows a lot about health to help you decide what would be a good plan for you and a good, healthy weight for you. :)

Well im still in my teens, im 15, but i AM a very weight concious person who sneaks into the gym alot.. so... well id say about 8st10-9st3 is about right, because when your a bit older and into your 30s, i just think thin adults look.. odd. But as long as you look HEALTHY and in early 20s, i think a thinner figure is fine =]

I think you sound ok, especially if your doc says your healthy. Have your body fat percentage checked, to me it sounds like you just have a small frame. If your body fat percentage is less than 14%, you need to gain some weight, because if it drops below 10%-12%, you could face serious problems. HTH : )

According to governmental guidelines you are mildly underweight. As to your questions about your waist and hips a two inch difference is nothing to get bothered about.
Speaking as a guy whose into physical fitness I find toned and healthy more attractive than skinny
Ultimately do you like what you see in the mirror. Everyone else's opinions don't mean squat compared to that.

I'm not a card-carrying health expert, so I'll avoid the daytime TV 'expert' twaddle, nor have I hit my 20th birthday yet, but I'd say you've nothing to worry about much. You're certainly not too skinny.

I think you should gain more weight for the fact of being healthier.
You should go on the computer and look at a chart to see what you should be for your height.
If you are in question, you should ask your doctor to advise you.
