People keep saying that America is getting fatter. How much do you weigh and how old are you?

Ok, you obviously are at fault in your method of survey taking. First of all, only people who spend time on a computer via Yahoo are being surveyed. This may not count the exercise nuts who are out jogging this evening.

Secondly, although screen names allow for some anonymity with regard to actual identity, people on here to make friends and enemies and those people know their screen name. So anyone who is not an appropriate weight is not likely to answer, at least not honestly.

Third, the demographic is the U.S., but it is likely that someone from another country will still answer, since we don't know the location of people on the internet unless they tell us.

With all of that in mind, let me say that I need to lose about as much weight as the underweight anorexics on here need as a combined weight gain. I say that seriously as there are a few who are underweight for their height. Check with medical weight charts to find a healthy weight range and eat some healthy calories.

Chris sounds like a total hunk. Probably young enough to be my son, shucky darn! He's also the only one who knows that one can bulk up and weigh more, while being more healthy. KUDOS to Chris!

As for me: I'm 47 and disabled. When I could no longer exercise as I used to, my weight went up. I've alway struggled with it, but weigh more now than at anytime in my life.... and it's sad, and sickening. So, I don't really care to tell a bunch of strangers how much I actually weigh. It has little to do with who I am.

Today's exercise was an attempt to turn my head right and left. For some reason I've recently lost that function with everything stiffening up. I wish I had a swimming pool 'cause that would be the best possible way for me to exercise.

Best Wishes,

Sue
