I quit years ago and the first 3 weeks are the hardest, but the cravings do lessen and then stop. It is rare that I crave a cigarette and when/if I do, it is usually around social situations and/or drinking - but that is very few and far between.

Great job quitting!!!

They will stop. Just think of how much freer you'll be able to breath , all those smoking related health problems that you won't have , the gavelly voice and the leathery face that you'll avoid when you're older and last but not least: the money that you will save.

No,that's not true. It does get better-but it takes awhile depending on how long you've smoked and how much you smoked, etc.

Drinking lots of water really does help flush the toxins out and help the withdrawal symptoms. Congratulations!

Nope, my grandpa just up and quite twenty years ago. Smoke for like, ten years, then just stops. I think it varies from person to person, but gosh darn, that's nifty.
