If they can make Digital Video Recorders (TiVo and the like), why can't they make Digital Radios? There's many times I'd like to record talk readio to listen to later, or pause a song when my phone rings.

Why not try XM or Sirius Satellite radio?

Each service has hardware options that allow you to record the shows onto your devices to listen to later.

It's 12.00 a month - if you buy time in advance, it makes the monthly charge cheaper.

I swore I'd never pay for satellite radio, but I'm a happy XM subscriber. I live by it, and I haven't heard a commercial in weeks!
