They are waiting for the true messiah that will save them, but they are all not religously connected to know the true messiah when they as a group see him when he appears.
Which means that prophesy indicates that they could be fooled when the false one comes.

When the real one comes He will defeat the nations that come against Israel and save the world from destruction by the mad men that follow the antichrist.

Jews have no thought about an "anti-Christ". For Jews, it's Messiah or nothing. This is one of the ways Judaism is different than Christianity: Christianity has that good-evil balance, while Judaism does not. For instance, Christianity has eternal Heaven and eternal Hell, while Judaism's version of Hell is more similar to the Roman Catholic Purgatory.

The Jews didn't want anybody to "save" them. Jews don't believe in a Messiah-as-Savior, just a Messiah-as-Messiah. In Jesus' time, Jewish messianism was running high, and Jews were looking for anybody at all who could raise up an army and drive Rome from Israel.

The jews have been finding for a political Messiah 2000 years in the past and Jesus failed that try. they are nevertheless finding for the Messiah yet i'm uncertain if the expectancies are nevertheless so political. Theologically, that is been reported that if all the Jewish united states repents that the Messiah will come. that may not be a view held via all scholars, whether.

The old fashioned, ORTHODOX JEWS, which are a conservative branch of the religion, are still waiting for the MESSIAH to come, based on the Old Testament Prophecies.

Some of the more contemporary sects of the religion now acknowledge Christ as the Messiah. There is a group in existence now called, "Jews for Jesus".

Hope this helps...

You have got to be kidding. They are hardly waiting for the Anti-Christ. The Messiah will be all that they think He should be the next time. Are you ready.

They believe the Messiah has not come although the Old Testament prophecies were all fulfilled in Christ. Therefore whatever they believe is futile because without Christ there is no way to the Father (God.)
