I have a dieses in my knee. It really ruined my gymnastics career. Im really depressed. Is there somethingi can do to make me happier?
I love gymnastics but it stinks only going there 1 time a week and i usually go 5 or 4. Im depressed help me!

like the person before me said...is just because you are still growing...this happens to immature bones...and apparently you worked it too much...give it time...i hope they gave you a brace..dont stop using it...give it time sweaty, let it heal for it self.
Maybe what you can do is help others at the gym, trained other kids...show them what you have learned...till you get better.

It's Osgood-Schlatter's. The condition usually settles down after you have reached skeletal maturity-means you have stopped growing. Maybe 16-18 years old on the average. How old are you? You just have to be patient. If you don't, the orthopedist may even put a screw in your tibial tubercle if it gets avulsed too much.

My son had this, it is VERY COMMON. I am sorry you have to cut out your gym routine, hang in there, it will improve soon.
