Why don't try reading the whole book of Colossians? People should make time to read God's word each day. Peace.
Verses 15-20 is speaking of Jesus Christ, God's first born Son

These scriptures are spoken on a level that those he was writing to could comprend. what he is writing of is the same as vedanta philosophy which jesus taught, "God dwells within you as you" Jesus was the same as a siddha yoga guru( a very secretive thing in those days). Jesus taught his diciples about the guru diciple relationship, alluded to in this chapter and also in romans 8-19/20,Jesus baptized in spirit, most christians don't know this or ignore it,this is why so many will say, yes,i'm a "sinner". Paul wrote more clearly of being one with God throught Christ in ephensians.. For the vedic roots of christianity see www.stephen-knapp.com/articles_to_read

Well, the first section is saying how important praying to God and thanking him for his blessings is. We thank him for being the Perfect Sacrifice so we don't have to go to hell.
The second section is telling about the supremacy of Christ. How He is God and how He rules over everything. It basically says that Jesus is awesome and that He is the only way you will be saved.
The third section is Paul telling about how he works to spread the Gospel of Christ. Kudos to him for his work!!
If this isn't enough, pray for understanding and read the chapter again.

ALL interpretation comes from the Holy Ghost ..He is the one who teaches us all things and brings into our rememberance the words of Christ ...and as a christian led of the spirit of God ...I must say ..the one to ask is the Lord...ask God for any interpretation..because when asking a man...you may not know whether he is filled with the spirit of God...and if he is fille he would then be led to say....to ask God ..because ...How do I know it is your time to receive the meaning of the verse..???..I can say ..it took the Lord 13 years to give me the meaning to one passage in Matthew...Why so Long ...I don't know..God does and it may have been that the meat of the word may have been to much for me to bare..So if I give you the meaning of the chapter...I could very well be going beyond the Lord...
What the Lord spoke to me to tell you is ...you ask him...he will tell you..God bless

Which verse and chapter?
Paul wrote many letters in prison to God's people. This was one to the Colossian people.
He proves rules for living a faithful life and encourages them in love and hope. To sum it up.
Oh, by the way, thanks for making me search for you. That was another Blessing from God.

it's paul writing a letter to the faithful brethren and saints (us) to continue in our faith being obedient in christ. making sure to do our part to help souls be saved to jesus christ. continue in prayer and thanksgiving unto the lord. everything that you do or before you do it tell God about it. When you have a thirst and hunger to want to know what the word of God says pray and meditate on jesus...be of good courage and he will give you revelation...continue to call on the name of Jesus...he know everything you need even before you ask. Get into your word and the word of god will get into you.

Colossi is telling us who God is., although we don't see him he does exist and is real. He is creator of ALL things, even Satan himself.
He know that air exist we don't see it but we breathe it.
Electricity is there but we don't see it.
God is there we don't see him, but I feel him.
