Any ideas on a graduation gift for my sister (26yrs old) who will be graduating with a BS in Urban Studies? She's the first in our family to graduate college. (and I'm so proud of her) :) Thanks in advance...

I am happy for her too and she is blessed that she has such a wonderful sibling!!

What's your budget?

A) Really nice weekend trip to someplace special she likes --- just the two of you --- build some memories -- don't let her pay for a thing! Take plenty of pictures and make a DVD of it or a nice scrap book full of memories of the weekend.

B) Hug her. Tell her how much you love her and how proud you are of her and the hardwork she has done. She may know, she probably does know, but let her hear you say the words and see it in your face. PRICELESS

C) Get the family together (don't take no for an answer from nobody) and take a family portrait and surprise her with it. Make a sign for her and put it in the background or you stand in the middle of the portrait with the sign. She can have one for her desk at her job and another for her new place. It will encourage her when she is down and feeling overwhelmed at work. It will also remind her that when she is feeling down or overwhelmed that she comes from a loving, caring family and they support her, no matter what.

How's that? YOUR VERY WELCOME!!!

There is a Dr. Seuss book called "Oh the places you will go" that my brothers and i all recieved on our graduations.

I also recieved a marble, square, paperweight with my university seal on it that my parents engraved with my name and grad date (the school bookstore should sell these)

I also recieved a very nice silver trinket box...form a regular store like Things Remembered ( a speciality engraving store) with my name and grad date engraved on it)

These were nice gifts and i know i will have thesse the rest of my life!

My sister got a car when she graduated high school, I got a nintendo 64 when I graduated and my brother got a playstation.

It's all up to her interests. What does the have a passion for?

A Cross Pen with her initials on it. These are really nice writing pens.

A crystal container with her initials etched on the top.

A really nice picture frame for her diploma.

Gift cards from any store seems to be the perfect gift these days when you don't know what to get someone. If you know where she loves to shop, get her a $100 gift card from that store.

Something that symbolizes good fortune. Lenox used to make some 'good fortune' earrings and a bracelet.
