I have 6 speakers and two 12inch subs. the two subs are running off an amp, the speakers are not. Every once in a while it gets into a mode that isn't something I put it in. When it gets like this, usually i can turn the deck off then back on and it will go away. However sometimes I can't get it to go away, no matter what I do. When it gets like this it sounds like everything is very distant, also I feel like what sound there is, is like 90% bass. But not bass like it usually is, it's like 50% of what it would usually be, but is 90% of the sound. I can't make out words, or any other parts of the music. I can turn the volume up and down, but the weirdness only gets louder or quieter. Sounds muted, sounds muffled. HELP ME FIGURE IT OUT!!!!

Attention mode?

Look on the deck to see if there is a button labeled "Att." or similar. Thats sort of what it sounds like to me.

Tjis answer is a bit on the technical side but here goes. You have bad solder connections on the audio output transistors or ic whichever one the manufacturer is using this is a repair that should be done by someone with experience get it done soon so further damage dont occur.

Earth connection somewhere, probably between stereo and amp. What you are hearing is the difference between the channels, not the individual sounds from each.
