My last boyfriend and I decided that even though our relationship crashed and burned we would still be friends. However, he stood me up on our first friendship outing.... so I decided that I really need to move on. He would call occasionally, but not say much except how sorry he is for our relationship falling apart (his mistakes). I didnt see why I should call him post-breakup, so I didnt. He always called me.
We stopped talking for a while (he stopped calling for about 3 months), and all out the blue he starts IMing and calling me, and we made plans to hang out... again. And again, he stood me up!!!!
Yesterday he IMed me (2 weeks later) and he says he's a lousy person, etc...
What is wrong with him?????
*BTW: Were in our 20s, not teens.

Tell him its ok to be friends, but the serious dating - even for a coofee is a no-no

u need 2 change your # if it is bothering u.Tell him that u want 2 move on and he needs 2 let that go.If u don't want him anymore then u should not hang out w/him anymore because u will probably start liking him again just as he wants u 2 that way he can do it again!!

He is immature and obviously doesn't care about maintaining a relationship with you.
Forget him, spend time with someone who will actually make an effort.

i don't know but it sounds JUST like the situation i just came out of!! i decided to just finally throw up my hands and say screw it! i don't have a clue but if you figure out what your guy's deal is let me know cause maybe that's what wrong with the guy i was seeing. i think it's called them being teenagers stuck in an adults body!! no clue. i think they just aren't mature. and they are selfish.

sounds like hes got regrets. maybe hes realized what hes lost and wants it back or hes trying to be friends like you agreed. i also think that he wants to keep you around so he doesnt have to go without. sounds like he wants his cake and eat it too
