What makes you think that there is one?
Near death experiences are not proof because theyve already been disproven and they've been able to be recreated using drugs like Ketamine, if NDE's were so original and proof of an afterlife and only experienced during near death, then they wouldnt be able to be recreating using drugs.
Ghosts are not proof because its already been proven there hallucinations or just all together made up by people who want attention whether its for fame or to attract tourists to an area that they advertise as "haunted".
You cant use the excuse "matter always exist" because you didnt always exist. You came into existence when you were born, so can you say you always existed? Do you remeber the year 871? No? Didnt think so.

So why exactly do you think theres an afterlife besides the fact that you're really desperate for there to be one cause you cant accept your mortality?

NDEs have not been disproven. If somebody maintains consciousness while their physical systems have shut down, it is evidence (no, not proof) of consciousness after death. The fact that drug experiences can reproduce this sensation does not make a bit of difference and does not constitute disproof whatsoever, it simply indicates:
drug experiences can replicate NDE experiences. So what?
The point is that the body has ceased all functions but the consciousness has not.
Personally I believe in it because I have talked to people who have had them, including personally meeting Danion Brinkley and they had an air of truth and uncommon knowledge about them when they spoke on the subject.

Long before I was Christian I had an out of body experience. I had never done a drug, or drank alcohol, etc.

It's not something that you could see, because I can't show it to you. Apparently, it was important for me to know that there is a spirit, and that spirit is just as much a part of me as any other part of me.

So this just has to be bugging you. You are trying to logicize your way through something that you don't experience.

After reading what you said above, I find that you have a tendency of believing only a certain type of source. Have you ever tried Ketamine? My Aunt's house isn't famous, have you been there? (and no, I will not tell you where it is.)

But I want to encourage you to continue to search.

The Truth is Out There.

I don't mean to sound sarcastic or negative, as I don't believe in being rude or nasty like so many others on this service are.

You have expressed your point of view to a tee, and I do believe that I know where you are trying to go with this, but first you must research your stated facts again. Some of the information you are claiming as fact is indeed NOT fact.

In the end, we all believe what we choose to believe, and you are certainly entitled to believe what you want. It's the way life works.

As for myself, about 6 years ago I had a "reading" form a Medium Clairvoyent that changed my life. There are lots of bad ones out there, but If you get ahold of a good one, you'll know it, regardless of what you believe. I wont bore you with the details of the reading, but for me it was a clintcher! Good luck to you!

Hmm, afraid of my mortality? Well, I'm not afraid of my mortality because I know that when I die in THIS world, I'm going to live forever in Heaven. I think there is a Heaven. I don't know if I'd really call it an afterlife since I don't know the specific term for afterlife. I just know with all my heart that "if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord(amen) and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved." "You will be saved" means that you will be saved from spiritual death. Human death is unavoidable, unless Jesus returns before you die. I'm not afraid to die because I know that I'm going to live forever with my Best Friend.

Because the Bible says there is one. and . . .

I've discovered a pattern in the scriptures that couldn't have been put there by the 40 or so writers.

The key to breaking the code is in Ezekiel 1.

It absolutely flabergasted me.

But once you understand the pattern of God's throne, the Bible begins to make sense because God is the author.

I'm absolutely sure there is an afterlife.

Looks like you are on a mission to prove that there is no god and you are getting nowhere at proving it. You are not good at deductive reasoning either. With all of these hostilities I am wondering if you did get abused by some priest or what?

I believe in reincarnation because I'm alive to see the apocalypse. If there's no afterlife or rebirth then this is one crazy coincidence, but at least I still get to see it.

I have no proof. It is my belief. Why? Becuase I enjoy believing in nice things, rather than nonexistance. To me, nonexistance is the scariest thing in the universe.
