I'm a 17 year old male who has been approached by someone who wants me to babysit their three children, aged 12, 11 and 7. I have never done this before, so I was wondering what would be a fair price to charge.

If you've never done it before then I'd go pretty cheap to start - like $5-8 an hour. It also depends on where in the country you are cause experienced babysitters where I live charge like $10-15 an hour. I have a mother's helper who comes to my house while I am home and takes care of my daughter for $5 an hour. She babysits (without parents home) as well and charges $7 an hour for 3 children - but she is only 13.

Hope that gives you an idea :)

It varies for 3 kids I would say depending on if these are friends of your family or not $7-$10 an hour would seem fair. They are older kids so pretty much take care of selves so I wouldn't ask for a lot more. Hope this helps

i could value 40 money an afternoon. they could have the means to arise with the money for that, and that's a lot greater value-effective than daycare. you additionally can communicate with them approximately offering lunch or breakfast, or offering money or foodstuff for which to feed their toddlers. there is not any longer something incorrect with doing this. in the event that they have a topic with this, you may communicate with them approximately looking childcare someplace else. they could handle their funds greater efficient. in the event that they dont choose to grant foodstuff, elevate a bill on the tip of the week, and modern it to them. considering they are kinfolk, and you dont choose to reason troublesome thoughts, purely say which you cant arise with the money for to feed 2 different toddlers, and you arent making adequate with 20 an afternoon to observe their toddlers all in the process the day. i could double that quantity, because of the fact the time is being better than doubled, and that could conceal costs. i wish this facilitates you some. stable luck!!
