NO! however i bought my 1yr old daughter a bratz babyz movie tonight (thought it looked cute and she begged for it) we got home popped it in the dvd player and no sooner was it POPPED OUT!!! i could not believe my eyes!! is this geared for pedofiles or what?? i dont find it cute for cartoon babyz portrayed as 1 year olds to want to "flaunt what they got" i quote that because in the 5min it was on it mencioned that at least every minuite! now i want to know what the hell does a 1 year old have to flaunt besides toothless grins? just filthy nasty things if u ask me...what a disgrace i think they need to go behind the scenes of whos making these bratz babyz crap and see if they have some secret fetish...because honestly i dont think any child should watch these movies..and honestly i think they are truley geared for pedophiliac pleasures so they can turn around n target babys now!!???

anya..the cover showed these bratz babyz in modest looking dresses actually prom looking dresses..so the cover was very misleading also it was rated G so i thought that there meant it was appropriate for all ages...guess i was very wrong

you know i must say im totally disapointed with the person who mencioned that i dont look at labels...did i say i went out and bought her dolls? hell no!! i simply purchased what i thought would be a cute movie seeming it was rated G..my daughter had said "saw to mimis" meaning she saw at her grammas..so of course i wouldnt of thought my husbands mother would allow filth to be watched on her tv..but also she was misinformed due to the cover and details on the dvd..

wow that's disturbing... I followed the link you provided, and I completely agree with you. Those "toys" look like blow-up dolls in diapers.

:::shudder:::

I sooo agree with you. I have two boys. So, they aren't really an issue for us but I work around kids and am a cheerleading coach for middle school girls. I was amazed at some of these Bratz products. I think they send the absolute wrong message and if they are geared toward even younger girls that is just sick. This past summer I found out I was pregnant with baby number three and I said right away that if it was a girl there would be no Bratz products in our home. But this one is a boy as well. Still, I have nieces and I would never buy this crap for them. It is disgusting.

I am with you!!

I have never been classified as a prude or anything (actually, furthest from. . .), but my husband and I have already decided there will be NO Bratz toys at all in our home. Our daughter is 16 months, and I will NOT allow her to be sexually objectified at such an early age!

I think it is sad that in this day and age corporate America insists on making it "sexy" to be a baby. I mean, don't we have enough issues with teen pregnancy and sexual activity in early teens, not to mention the sickos that insist upon molesting children? I think the company that produces these items should be ashamed of themselves, and that if they want the dolls of the "teens" out there, fine. But the baby ones has GOT TO GO!

I agree, they are telling girls that a lot of make up and hairstyling will make you popular, and you can get any guy you want. I was watching to bratz on Saturday morning, and they are in what middle school going to school with mini skirts and tube tops??? This is not giving the right image for our children. That's why I stick to barbie, she knows what is right and she is an achiever, barbie the astronaut, come on who would want to be a tramp? I think people don't understand the reality of this. I bought two bratz dolls for my little sister in law, and she never wanted to play with them, I wouldn't have wanted to either, too much lipstick, make up, short skirt, thank god she didn't get the wrong impression. My sister brought this for her daughter the bratz baby, what are girls gonna grow up and think, that babies wear make up?

Are u kidding me????Complete with a stoller even? How very disturbing. Thank goodness I have boys. There is no way I would ever allow my daughter to play with toys of this nature. Can we all say a pedophiles heaven? Completely and utterly disgusting! Two thumbs down to the makers.

so did I read your post correctly? A one year old begging for a movie? The amount of TV a one year old is supposed to watch is ZERO-distraction as a ploy-hey look at this and a really solid "No" are fine answers for a 1yo. the content of the DVD is the least of your problems, sorry.

got a piece of news for you if you let the "media" raise your kids this is what will get preview every last movie toy and games that my kids get to watch, some time ago there was a movie very popular and touted by the industry as a great movie "Harriet the spy"basically saying that its OK to tell a white lie and that you have to some times
nice concept but if kids knew the deference then they wouldn't be watching the movie because all most kids get is its OK to lie

I guess you don't look for age appropriate labels on things you purchase for your child? The "Bratz" line is geared for basically just before preteen girls, not infants. I too find them repulsive but I'm not going to tell another mother what she should or shouldn't purchase for her children.

Ok first I kind of agree with your point. I haven't seen the movie (don't plan to) so I can't fully agree. My question to you is this, Did you not see the cover of the movie when you bought it? If you saw they looked like "Sexual goth hookers" why did you buy it? Have you not seen these dolls in Wal-Mart??????

I'm not even a mom and I'm right there with you. Thesse dolls look like they're made more for high schoolers, not grade schoolers. There is no way I would buy one of these dolls for my neices, less my daughter. I completely agree with you and I cannot believe they actually sell these and parents buy them! I think that's the worst part!
