i own a repair shop,and i can tell you this they don't die at 50 thousand miles,,they last well beyond that.ad more,i repair a few of them but its always major repairs i have to do,,they really are good cars most of them i service have a lot of miles o them,and there still going really good,so if your thinking about buying one,,that's not a bad choice and it will hold up,,good luck i hope this help,s.

Fifty thousand miles is nothing for today's modern cars. If the vehicle has been maintained and well cared and you do likewise you should get at least 100,000 more miles. Saturns are very solid though somewhat boring.

Well, I never had that car or any other from Saturn, but if I'm going to buy a car I will settle for a Honda, Toyota or Nissan

I have a friend who has a Saturn and when the car would have problems he HAD to take it to the Saturn Dealer because they were the only ones with parts. . . soooo you wouldd need to find a reputable dealer and have him /her check it out and leave all repairs to them

I don't know of any major problems on those but they are pretty easy to work on and I personaly like how the ride.
