To be more specific I recieved two tickets, one for going 83 in a 65, and the other for driving without a license, both infractions. I need to know how long before i get my court date in the mail, so i can get the mail before somebody else does. Thanks!

well it depends on the policeman and what depeartment it was if it was the state police it will be there between 4-6 days or sometime they send it by constable and give it to you in person, it varies by state or department.

Call the clerk of court where the tickets were issued. They should be able to tell you over the phone the dates and when the notices will be mailed.

You ask as if the Post Office is consistent. If you want to be sure you are the one to check the mail the day they arrive, be the one to check the mail EVERY day until they arrive.

Even if you know when the tickets were mailed, you are at the mercy of the USPS, who delivers the mail.
