spiritual services, like pyschics? Why is one any better or worse then the other?

They are all just services. People label them as good or bad based upon their own personal preference (which can be based upon what is popular, easy, socially accepted, covered by insurance, what they grew up with, what they have tried and what they have heard or read about the services).
I personally believe that the mind heals the body and other modalities keep the mind focused and the body comfortable. I am also distrustful of the chemicals that we receive from the Medical Industry - and so I love Chiropractors, spiritual counsellors (which include psychics), and herbalists for my healthcare.

That's a great question.
I think it's because a doctor had to go to many years of schooling and do an internship and pass exams in order to be a licensed practitioner.
If psychics had to go through the same sort of examination process and be certified before they could open a business and charge for services, then it should be okay to do so.

Charging for a doctor is better than charging for a pyschic, because doctors actually work. Pyschics are bogus.

Spiritual gift of healing is a gift from God. Would you sell a gift that you get from your father? Next question...!
PS: the healer may charge for his time; but no more then his job would pay him!

If a psychic agrees with getting paid only AFTER the treatment, when the customer is happy and satisfied ....then I see no problem in the whole concept.

Doctors can help heal the physical body....only you or counselors can help heal what ails you on the inside/spiritually/mentally. You are mind/body/soul.

People believe in stitches and casts, not tarot cards and palm-readings. Most people, anyways. Not bashing on you.
