I love my family with the love GOD gave me to love them with.
God gave me my family. Order of importance and responsibility is God, then family, then friends.
Some family members are difficult to love and can only be loved through God's guidance.
Religion to me is different than Christianity, so I'm not exactly sure how to totally answer this.
Good question...made me think. I needed to use my thinking muscles.
I got a little off track, but hope I answered the question.

BOTH.
if a member of my family gets into trouble and i still love the person thats true love. if i hate the person because my religion said that the person has done a wrong and therefore i must dislike the person - i'm misinterpreting religion. we must remember the ocean of God's forgiveness is so wide. if i love my family because my religion say so, then i can be quite stupid. for love shld come from the heart and not what the priest tells me.

This is a really silly question! I love my family and friends no matter. Religion does not play into it at all. If it did I would really be an outcast! I am the rebel, black sheep of the family as it is! We love each other for who we are, not how we worship.

I love them because I love them. Religion really has nothing to do with it. There are family members that I do not love. Religion has nothing to do with that either.

I love the members of my family that I can love. I have family members that I can't even relate to, let alone love. I love the people that I love because of who they are and how they make me feel. I don't love anyone out of obligation.
Peace!

A better question would have been, do you love God bc of religion or bc you love him?
Love for your family has nothing to do with religion.

When I am a completely obedient servant of my Father God in Heaven, then I will know true love and I will be able to love my family because I will be "christ-like" and "christ-minded". God is love and without God there is no love. Forgiving others plays a major part in all of this.
