I recently had a baby and think I might still have PPD. My boss is a jerk who has remembered everyone's birthday and made a big deal of theirs but has forgotten mine for 2 years. I fight with my husband, and ordinarily, I wouldn't make a big deal of small things, but lately, everything gets to me and makes me cry. I know others have it a LOT worse, but I can't seem to change how I feel. Anyone else ever deal with crazy depression that won't seem to go away?

It is natural to feel stressed out at this time in your life, you are overwhelmed by responsibilities and you are probably tired, taking care of a baby and working. Is there anyone close to you that you can talk to, your mom, or a sister or sister in law. Most women go through something like this but you should talk it out with somebody who has been in your situation.
If nobody to talk to you should see a psychologist to be evaluated fo PPD. Best wishes with this.

Sounds like PPD to me, but you need to go see your physician and together make that determination. This time of year is so very stressful and you may need a little bit of counselling also. Believe me it is nothing to be ashamed of. Get something done about it before things get worse. You cannot take care of someone else unless you take care of "you" first.

I've broken down many times and it usually happens in public which is really embarssing. See a doctor and a psychiatrist also your baby's father if the both of you are on good terms with each because he has every right to know what is happening to you as well. I usally break down because of other people's expectations so if you've ever had instances that made you break down try to remember what emotion you felt the most that made you break down.

if its really really bad, talk to a doctor, but if its just a few days. its because you are a women, we do that sort of thing. if we keep unhappiness bottled up inside, eventually it will come out. and if we have a long period of up, were going to have around the same amount of down. and about the boss thing, i sugest telling him when your birthday is.
