I'm a 14 yr old freshman 2...and i have heard and seen all the tactics there are because guys use 'em on me. The best one ive heard so far is just plain old "Will you go out with me?". Just ask her. Chances are that if she does like you, she will say yes but if not, she will let you down gently. But what ever you do, if she says no, don't ask why. It will just ruin your friendship.

Most girls really like a guy who can come right out and ask them to the dance. If you want to start the conversation with her before asking her to the dance talk as you normally do and don't be overly shy. She is just a friend. Speak to her as you normally would even if you are around her other friends as well. If others are there it will be much more impressive to her unless she already has a date but if not she will be glad because you had the courage to ask. Don't keep putting it off because it will be more likely she will already have a date. Start the conversation on topics you normally discuss then casually ask her about the dance and things like what time it is and what the theme is and so on. This will lead you into asking her to the dance. Then just go right out and tell her you don't have a date and you would be very pleased if she would be your date to the dance. Don't be worried. Just ask if she will go with you as a friend/date and nothing more. If more comes out of it then great but otherwise just relax and enjoy your time with her. Jsut go for it and don't hold back and you could be surprised with what could happen next. Good Luck

Well since the dance is only 5 days away and shes such a great person she probably has a date already. So maybe you should find that out first.
Just so you know girls need more than a couple days to get ready for a big fancy formal dance so you might wanna grab a set of Kahoonas sooner next time.

Talk to her like you normally would and maybe ask her if she's planning on going to the dance on Saturday. If she says, "yes", then just throw it out there that you're planning on going as well. If she seems interested at that thought, ask her about going together, or even ask her if you two can meet up there and hang out? Hope these suggestions help!

approach her and ask her is she's going with someone to the dance. If she says no, then ask her if it's alright if you could escort her to the dance.
