Christianity is the Violent Faith !!!
Always was and always will be. It is based on oppression and the twisting of the truth in order to mentally enslave its followers. So delusion is christianity the two cannot be separated.
How many people have died and/or suffered (torture) in the name of god ? More or less than all persons who died in the world wars ? Here is a hint....we need another war just to come close !!

It is hard to separate the delusions from reality. Desperation and hatred are often the driving force. Terrorists, for example, have been deeply affected by war, lives torn apart, families ruined. Violence often becomes the only answer. Suffering and pain were all that were given to you, so what do you give back?
Holy Spirit, however, is about a greedy pope of the old Crusades. Need for land and resources along with the elimination of monopolies drove the pope to declare a Holy War. The pope used religion as a mask.
Many people had nothing but faith, so saying the Holy Ghost proclaimed it, meant, a literal Holy Ghost had declared the war. Imagine that everything you have been taught is a lie, but what you are doing is what you think is right. You would do what you thought was the right thing.
And PS, lay off Catholics, what we were, we are no longer. We learned from mistakes, so learn from yours.

One man's delusion is another's Holy Spirit. Me, if I hear voices telling me to kill, that isn't God. Or maybe God tested them, and they took things way too far.

To claim that God has choice like human beings and God is pleased if certain categories of innocent persons just because they belong to different faith and are not prepared to convert to your faith, are killed; is an action totally borne out of ignorance about God.
It is an illusive faith born out of total ignorance. To commit violence and justify in the name of God is blind faith and can not be justified by any amount of spiritualism. What about animal sacrifice on the religious altars? It were all ignorance. Please read Vedanta in Hinduism, you will get the answer.

If you feel the Holy Spirit is leading you somewhere prayer is the first step but the other key is to remember that the Holy Spirit will not contradict scripture.

They were decieved by the Devil. Not guided by the Holy Spirit. To tell those things apart, you have to have a true understanding with God. In other words, you need to become his true friend.

Think about what he destroyed people for before the flood.
He said it was because the earth was full of violence because of them. He regretted even making men in the first place they were so mean.
