i have minor acne which has cleared up considerably since i've started seeing my dermatologist. my problem now is that i sometimes get dead skin that i need to exfoliate. i know there are scrubs that you can get in the store but i dont want to use any other washes besides the one from my dermatologist so i was just wondering if adding salt to my regular facial cleanser would be ok or if it would cause me to break out again.

a natural home remedy for exfoliating your skin is, baking soda made into a paste with water. Gentle rub in circular motion and rinse. I do this every night. works wonders.
good luck!

I don't think I would use anything else without consulting your Dermatologist. Salt doesn't sound like it would be very good; but, they have come out with a new Sugar Scrub that they say works great. I think all it is, is adding regular sugar to a facial cream.
