I've moved 3 times with my bf already and each time, he NEVER helps to pack one box or unpack anything to settle in. I put the entire house together unless I need help nailing or screwing something in.

Women, do you find most if not all the responsibility on you when you move? Men how do you help if at all?

I just want to see how abnormal or normal this is.

This is easy. The guy moves ALL the big stuff...with little or no help from her. And he moves all the boxes too. But unpacking is women's work. And anyway, if a guy was to DARE and open a box and place anything anywhere...he'd hear a shrill whine from behind him that said 'oh, are you gonna put that there'.

Women build the nest, the guy just lives there.

Some men are just lazy and think women should do all the work. Just try asking him to help out.

Sounds like a lazy, inconsiderate bumb to me. One of the people who will sit back and "allow" you to do everything. You better learn NOW to have him help you or it will only get worse.
