What types of gel could i use to keep my hair safe from hair loss, etc.? i also want it to hold my hair well enough.

Hey man, so the cheap stuff should be out of your vocabulary now, if you are losing your hair. Petro-chemicals, and plastic are in otc gels, and will clog your folicals. Try doing a web search for Nioxin, its amazing, and works.... they also have a complete line of styling products. I would stay away from gels though, as they tend to clmp hair together and make balding areas look even worse. Hope i hepled man!

as long as you use professional products it's safe for your hair. A really good gel that holds like no other is bedhead's mohawk gel.

i have the same promplem. i have been puting jel on for 3 years now. so i decided to get long hair and have it back just like cm puck or triple H but a little smaller. then i would just have to put water on it and it would last aleast for 5hrs on my hair for sure.now even i have spiky hair and i use studio gel, but i do't know if u loose hair with it or not. i hpe this helps.

Sauve has a jell that works really well.

use wax for the best control...have you tried using a straighting iron also?

no gel is safe... all of that shyt got chemicals and shyt like dat....
so dont use it.....
