From what I have seen yes they are but I think it is how you work with your dog as well. Crate your dog when not at home, do not put food or water in with your dog. Walk your dog after meals, playing with it and after being crated. What ever you do do not rub your dogs nose in it's mess, if you catch them in the act say no bad and take them outside and tell them to go potty, poopo or however you say it. Make sure the crate is only big enough for you dog to get into if it is bigger than the dog they will go in the crate. Also crate the dog at night. I have found bigger dogs take less time than little dogs from my friends and family, but like I said it is how you train your dog and how consistent you are!

Hi, I understand that you are looking for some advice or resources to help fully train your dog or fix behavior problems. If a professional dog trainer is not an option at this time, or if you want to trt training your dog on your own (a great way to bond), I'd suggest you https://bitly.im/aMQkD

A friend recommened it to me a few years ago, and I was amazed how quickly it worked, which is why I recommend it to others. The dog training academy also has as an excellent home training course.

It often depends on the breed - not the size. Some small dogs
are quite easy to train. Others, like the Jack Russel Terrier and some Poodles can be a bit obstinate.

Bright dogs can be hard to train because they have a mind of their own and it is harder to find the right incentive. Slower dogs can be hard to train because they are, well - slower.

Check the AKC website on dog breeds to see which breeds tend to be easier to train. Then get a mutt (with a lot of breed you like in it) -- they are actually usually healthier and smarter.

the smaller the dog, the more entergetic. Mini piincheres are some of the hardest dogs to train. they are only hard to train if you dont have time to play with them every day (bout 4.5 h a day for starters. after a couple of months, itll come down to 30 min)

I don't think it depends at all on the size of the dog, I think it really depends on the breed. Some breeds are smarter than others, and some are easier to train.

Well, let's see, my smaller dog is a JRT mix...

And actually, no offense to all you Malamute owners out there, but Malamutes are on the bottom of the list as far as intelligence goes...

It doesn't matter what size they are, like humans, personalities differ and some require more patience and time than others. Try a good puppy pre-school

"NO" because when they are bigger they have a bigger attitude. And the small dogs have a longer time to practice. And then they will get it.
