I'm 16 years old and much in need of a car... as you can imagine money is sort of an issue. I need a car around or under $3,000 that works and will get me from place to place. A car that looks decent is a plus too. If anyone has an idea of how much insurance would cost monthly for a car around that price with a student grade discount also, please tell me. Any ideas on a car or a way to save up some more money so i can get something above 3,000? Don't be smart @sses and tell me to get a job because I'm really busy with school and sports...thanks

i own a repair shop, and one of the best and easiest cars to find is a good Toyota corolla these days, and the insurance is cheap on a new driver also, these are really good cars they go for at least 2 or 3 hundred thousand if taken care of,,and look good also,i been in the repair business for a long time, and i really don't get to many of them to work on because they don't give a lot of trouble,,but you might want to go test drive one of these,,i think you,d like the way they run,and drive,,good luck i hope this help,s.

you can find a fairly nice used honda accord, toyota camry, or corolla, or a nissan for about $4000. I am gonna be smart though. A 16 yr old doesn't generally NEED a car. You should have to pay for your own gas money, oil changes, and stuff like that if you want the privelege of driving. I wish you luck. Be safe!!

hit up an old police auction where they sell the old police cruisers, lots of miles but generally in good shape, but they're larger cars, making them a little bit more safer in an accident than a honda. and they're cheap! Don't think you wont get in an accident, it almost always happens at somepoint in our younger lives. I did, wasn't bad but it happened even though i figured i never would.
