My bf talks non-stop about wanting to get a PS2 and playing Final Fantasy 12 as soon as he gets home for winter break. He and I go to school in VA, but he'll be going home to MN. I've already made him a picture frame with a collage of relevant-to-our-relationship pictures on it. But, I was also thinking about getting him Final Fantasy 12 so that he'll have something to do over winter break (he lives in a rural farm town). Would you like a gift like that?

HELL YEAH! If my girl bought me a gift like that, I might love her even more!

Yeah, I'd like a video game as a gift, not Final Fantasy, but maybe Madden.
Going to Minnesota, especially rural MN in December can be less than fun. But a lot of us Minnesotans are fiercely Minnesotan and speaking as one, I'd just as soon have my girlfriend come visit to see where I come from if that's possible.

I'd love FFXII, and so would many guys. Getting it from your gf is even better!

However, a word of warning: he's about 95% likely to interpret this move as "Here you go, this is permission to ignore me for the next two weeks while you play the game nonstop."

I'd give the game to him on the last day you see him before the break.

I wouldn't feel right asking for an expensive gift like that but if you're ok with it, then yes! Buy him the PS2 and the game, he'd be very happy...I know I would, lol

Well im in college in Va too and one of my friends has that game and he pretty much skipped like every class until he beat the game so i don't know if its the best idea. I mean as long as he beats the game before he comes back then you'll be fine. good luck

Oh my god, your frame thing made me laugh out loud! Not that it isn't a sweet gesture, it is--but it's like getting socks from grandma, no guy really is going to appreciate it. It's a girlie thing. Go with the game stuff, that he can relate to even if to you it's much less personal and meaningful.

If I'm the guy, the best gift is having a thoughtful, sweet, and caring girl who is completely true to me. You don't need to buy me any gift at all ^_^

well if thast all he talks about doing then ya it would be great. but you also said he talks about getting a ps2 so does he have one??? cuz if he doesnt than the game would be pretty worthless seeing as he wont be able to play it.

Already have the game. Already loved it. It's just me but I don't feel like owing a girl something if she got me something. But that's just me, again.
