My son comes absolutely before anyone else in the entire world.
I am a single mum, I have 2 brothers and I hate the thought of ever being put in this situation but honestly,
I would die for my son, I would go to jail for murder to protect him - so if you are a parent I think you need to go back to basic instincts in this situation. The main role of the parent is to do WHATEVER it takes to protect your offspring.
If something has already happened, then it cannot be changed but I would find a way to prove to my child that it was not ok by me, (what had happened) and I will do anything to make sure it didnt happen again and that person would be made to regret it.

find a great counselor who specializes in children and adolescences and get him some counseling. Males who are abused are more likely to abuse as adults. Call the Police and file a report, and they will contact children services and assist you with getting your son some counseling. And they will also have charges pressed against him and i would not rest until he is under the prison for his crime. Good luck and God bless****

first of all contact would have to stop that goes without saying, second i don't know i can only imagine how angry i would be and coming up with some rational plan would be hard as my instincts would be to kick the living crap out of him, but probably the most sane thing to do would be to spend all my energy on being there for my son and getting him whatever help he needs and dealing with my own anger at a later time

That SOB better get to the police before I get to him, at least with the police, he will be safe from me, but he has to come out sometime. There is "no" excuse good enough for him to avoid my justice. This might sound harsh, but I did not bring my kids into this world for some piece of s h i t to abuse. Relative or not.

Honestly, I would have killed his as.s. I wouldn't have even had time .. to sit on Yahoo Answers because I would be over at the uncle's house beating the crap out of him right now .. what are you waiting for? Oh and after you beat his as.s down .. then you call the cops.

First of all, you are the parent and whatever you say goes. For instance you should get them both together and have a nice conversation with them and find out first hand whats going on, what is the problem, and how could it be fixed. But the best way is to try that and then get counseling for the both of them. Maybe this would work. Just make sure that you keep all communication channels open for the both of them

Any kind of abuse should be reported to the Police.
Have you talked to the "Uncle" about this?

If I was to ever find out that my brother (if I had a brother) ever laded a hand on my son/daughter, I would report his *** and
never speak to him again. There is no excuse that he can give
me to say that it was excusable, NO HELL NO. I don't like putting
my hands on my child, why should I give him the satisfaction to
do what he wants to do. I would rather talk, and scold my child
then beat the crap out of them.

Kick my brother a$$. Cut out all contact with your brother for your son's sake. Possibly alert the authorities.
