How do you start a sucessful relationship with your best friend?

At the beginning of the school year i met this girl for the first time. We hit it off really well and are like best friends. The problem is we both want to be more than friends, but we have never had a boyfriend or a girlfriend. What can I do to get us off on the right foot?

You want to play it slow. Like gradually move up a level every so often, so you have a firm foundation to build a stronger relationship on. Slowly add in little things like holding her hand or playing with her fingers. Maybe a short love letter every so often. These seem to be very corny and cheesy, but most girls enjoy getting love notes. Just gradually increase the intensity of the relationship as you both feel comfortable. I'm no expert but it seems like both of you are very freindly but it depends how long u know eachother sence u said year it and both of u are best freinds go on a date and check wat its like to have a girl of your own and if the date it succsesfull(mispelled) keep on dating then eventualy ul tell if shes ur dream girl

Just ask her out. Say something like "i really like you and i was wondering if you would go out with me" If don't ask her out then she'll get tired of waiting and it'll be too late. Trust me i know from experience
