UFOs, JFK and 9/11 conspiracies, Bigfoot, Loch Ness, Bermuda Triangle, Ghosts, ESP, Lucid dreaming, Lucky rabbit's foot or shoes or shirts etc, 4 leaf clover, Dreamcatchers, wishbones, black cats, coins in fountains and wells, lottery numbers, colors, solstice and equinox, Mother Nature, numerology, multiple personality, twin empathy, Cults, people waiting on the Mother Ship to return, good luck and bad luck, fate, astrology/zodiac, voodoo, horoscopes, palm reading, tarot, runes, tea leaves, omens and coincidences, etc etc but NOT the bible?
Atheists tell us how smart we are as a race and how far we have come; in essence that we have proven there is no God(s). So why believe in ANYTHING? What IS that within us that makes people want to believe in SOMETHING, just not God and the Bible?
It's a great question and I'm sorry I don't know who said it first.

The question is basically: WHY BELIEVE IN ANYTHING? Even one atheist said he doesn't believe in "most" but he didn't say "all"..that's my point.
Yes, there IS fun stuff in there but a lot of it isn't. Like half the UFO people believe aliens are among us and the other half think they wouldn't come here. What?
I mentioned very MODERN things..not burning bushes or Sun Gods or wind spirits. ANSWER the question about stuff NOT in the Bible..Get it?

THINK people THINK. This isn't about the Bible. Those of you harping on religion: are you telling me you don't believe in ANYTHING? You don't play the lottery or cross your fingers or wish luck to someone or are wary of black cats..nothing at all?!?
As for those of you looking at time/dates:
I guess the Bible or whatever would have to be created TODAY for you to give something worth? Just because something is old doesn't make it good or bad..that ageism and it's a bad measurement for anything.

As for Slippie, I didn't mention MY religion nor the word superstition at all. Try to have a mature, broad-minded discussion instead of being a narrow-minded, quick to hammer wiseass. You reveal much that way, sadly. More than I have.
