Unfortunatly, God didn't account for split ends :(
I have long hair, it suits me well but if I had never cut my hair, I'd look like a yeti of some sorts.
Getting your hair trimmed is necessary to keep your hair healthy! But, women cut their hair for a number of reasons. It's a way of expressing ourselves <3 God appreciates art doesn't he? Hair styling is absolutely an art!

why ask why, you don't you? Everyone is intitled to there opions and views in life why america is a great couyou country. If do or do not ever cut y our hair let it be for your reasons and not someone elses, also if you dont cut the hair you can end up with crapy hair that has split ends, eventually at a point it needs a trimming, after it get to a weight it wont grow as well either.

I cut my hair because I do not follow the demands of the Bible. I do not believe that it is inspired or written by God.
Anyway, if you read other translations of the Bible, it says different things. Some say women should "nourish" their hair, and some say women should not have hair that is "shorn."
So, I think it is only fair to discuss the Bible if you are talking about it in the language it was originally written. If you understand Greek, then read what the original Bible says, and decide for yourself. Do not be a blind follower of men, follow only God, and do what you think he wants of you.

you can cut your hair after you get baptized. Its ok. Its not a rule that after you get baptized you can never sin again. You just try to be the best person that you can be. and 1 corinthians 11:1 says, "Be imitators of me, as I am of Christ."

Those are old testament rules. Many of those rules were changed when Jesus died. Jesus will accept you as you are. He will not reject you because you have cut your hair. He loves you no matter what. I do not want to challenge your faith, if that is a personal comitment then good for you. But you shouldn't tell others they are wrong for cutting their hair.

well.. us girls get tired of having the same old style of our hair and it gets harder to brush. it also gets damaged because of the sun, us brushing it, swimming, etc.. so we get our hair cut so we can look better.. and our hair can be so much healthier.
