I have dark brown,wavy,long hair (a little past the middle of my back). I'm wanting to keep it around the same length and color, but have a different style. Any ideas?pictures would help.

I had hair about that long, it was wavy and brown, as well. I decided to trim the ends, layer it a little bit, but mostly bevel the hair around the face. I also changed the way I wore my part (I now wear it more to the side) and I got bangs (nothing too thick, just a little to offset the bevel cut around the face). I like it a lot, and I can still wear ponytails when I need to! : ) Lowlights (opposite of hightlights) look really cute, too!

my hair is the same as yours, but not wavy just thick curl's. someimtes i straighten my hair , and Ill pull the sides of my hair back from my face and put a nice clip in the back to hold it. or you could get layers done at the back of your hair, not at the front, so it gives your hair a look of more volume(looks great when you straighten it). you could curl it with a curling iron or twists with your fingers while its drying once you have washed your hair. instead of having a middle part maybe have your part on the side, then pull abit of the hair out from the front to make a frindge and clip back the hair behind it with a nice clip. for nice hair styles just look at your celebs like paris hilton or jessica simpson etc..

Add some layers, so that the hair will still be the same length, but with more body and added interest. You should also add some highlights.

With hair that long it might be hard to style, but putting waves in your hair would be super sexy. Like the Victoria's Secret models.
