I know and admire the kind of Christians that you are talking about and I hope to have that kind of strength and peace some day soon. We are all a work in progress though. God does not expect us to grow up all of a sudden. It takes years to grow and mature as believers.
The more that we walk in the light, the more we will be aware of our dark side and try to defeat it. I try to always be aware of Jesus walking right along side of me and do what He would do. I try to act in a way that reflects God's goodness to others. Daily Bible study and prayer keeps me focused on the Lord. Memorizing scripture and applying it to life will start to come naurally if you practice it daily.

This kind of an answer can only come from within yourself. A good way to start feeling more of a connection to your spirituality is to help others. Volunteering at a shelter or retirement home (especially around this time of year) will give you a feeling of fulfillment, and spreading your love around the community may halpe you feel more connected to your faith.

It's called perfection. Not being perfect but full age or mature in His Word.
Study His Word which is His Spirit, the Spirit of truth, the Holy Spirit.
Christ said My sheep know My voice. The only way you are going to hear His voice is by studying His Word.
Joh 14:22 Judas saith unto Him, not Iscariot, Lord, how is it that Thou wilt manifest Thyself unto us, and not unto the world?
Joh 14:23 Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love Me, he will keep My words: and My Father will love him, and We will come unto him, and make Our abode with him.

Accepting Christ as your Savior is a big part of it. Trusting, faith, love, hope, etc., are all parts of becoming complete in Christ. God tries to teach us something new about him everyday. It is up to us to pull our head out and realize it.

I don't think loving the lord alone is enough. Love others the same way as he did. I think this answers your question. God bless.

Talk to God and tell him that you accept him in your life, and than get baptized. Water baptism is a wonderful outward act that symbolizes our death to our old life and our rising up to our new life that is in Christ Jesus. For a new Christian it is basically an outward expression of a new inward reality.
Jesus had himself baptized in the River Jordan. He said that he was an example for us to follow. Congratulations on your desire to follow Jesus on this matter.

Jesus said if you love Him then you'll follow His commandments. He told us to love God with all that we are and to love our neighbor as ourself. If we do that, turn from sin, and plead the blood of Christ over all our sin then we are complete in Christ.
great question :-)
