Did his mother have a girlfriend ,sister, or another family member she may have confided in at the time of her pregnancy? Maybe if you or someone else the mother is closer to could explain to her how important this is to her son, and that it doesn't mean he wants to put a bad reflection on her for things in the past, they may be more willing to help. He may want to also tell her it's important for him to know what he can about his fathers medical history, because he'll want children someday. Good luck!

You could hire an investigator, contact Montel Williams Show who can do it better without cost to you. Contact people in the town/city she may have known and go from there. Maybe sisters or brothers she may have had. Know her birthdate, if so try and find the Birth Certificate. Good Luck and I wish the best for you both.

Sorry to hear it- it may have been a one night stand- but does he or his mother know the name?? Go to big yellow book and type in residents, name and city and search away- is the name of the birth certificate- he can get a copy - we contact the health dept here for that-it is possible his mom may not be sure who that dad is and is ashamed to admit it- take care-D

Start giving information on Yahoo Answers. Also, go on people search. Go to the place where his father is from and inquire at the town hall, phone books, schools, etc. One place might lead you to another. Good luck.
