I went on a date with this guy two weeks ago, just befor ei left for 5 days for Thanksgiving. We went to a movie, then for a drink then bck to his place. I ended up staying at his place, we didn't have sex but we did get a little busy. So When I got back the Monday after the holiday I called him up and invited him to come out that evening, but he already had plans. He sounded really interested in getting together though and dissapointed that he was busy. Then I didn't hear from him at all.
Then, I called him up on Friday to invite him to hang out Saturday and he said he was busy but that it was a friend who had been standing him up for the past month but that he would call me if it fell through. I didn't hear from him.
My issue is that when I talk to him he sounds interested in getting together, and sounds dissapointed that he already has plans. B
Is he interested? Or just a good actor? I fear he might be keeping me simmering on the back burner while he is working on other "dishes"

I like your "simmering " analogy...
But the beans aren't quite done yet. Busy yourself a little bit...then try again, maybe even wait 2 wks. If he doesn't see u THEN just let it go. Two ships passing in the nite is what i call it. Luckily u didn't sleep w/him then your heart would b breakin' about now...
I m going through the SAME exact thing but my man really was an actor before!
So I'm filling up my schedule this week..giving the man i like some space...it's really difficult though. I know how it is when their is chemistry on that first date, but then the experiment falls flat. You're not alone honey..

sounds like he has someone else and is busy with her and dosent want to end things with you because when shes away or hes free, he can have his fun with you. if a guy was really interested, he would be there when you called. especially a single guy, there would be nothing more important...lol i would definitely stop calling him and see what comes of it, he has your number so see if he calls you. and besides, guys dont like it when girls come on to strong. let yourself be known and make sure he sees you, especially when you look good, but dont call him. act like your busy and he will want you sooooo bad.....for real

He's just not that into you, but since you were willing to nearly have sex with him, he wants to keep the door open by being nice and sounding interested. If he gets horny, he knows you're willing to "get a little busy" with him.
