Papal Rome is the whore of Babylon, the mother of harlots, the mother of all false religion, the antichrist, the man of sin, the mystery of iniquitiy, the son of perdition, the little horn of Daniel 7 and Daniel 8, the beast of Revelation 13:1-10. It is she who has made the world drink of her false teachings, and she that declares herself to be God on earth, forgiving sins, and being infallible.

The second beast of Revelation 13 is the United States, the false prophet, the strongest nation at end times, the maker of the image to Rome (combination of church and state), the enforcer of the mark of the beast, the lamb who speaks like a dragon, the nation that forces all the world to worship the image of the beast upon pain of death.

Some scholars think that 'Babylon' here is not a country but an evil system.
I know you expect people to say 'the US'; but this, as explained in Revelations do not fit a country who takes the lead in coming to aid of every worldly disaster. The US may not be heaven but it's surely not Babylon.

Rome, Rome, Rome, Babylon IS Rome. St. Peter was in Babylon, St. Peter was definitely in Rome but not once in the Bible does it say St. Peter was in Rome, but in Babylon. Babylon means mystery and there are mystery Babylons to this day, which will play a role in the End of Days.

And I suspect that America is the mystery Babylon of present, and the Vatican is the other mystery Babylon as there are 2 I believe.

If you refer to Babylon the Great, it is the world empire of false religion. The merchants mourn her and the kings of the earth mourn her while keeping their distance. There are only three world empires, religion, governments, and the commercial empire, it says she sits upon a throne over the kings of the earth and committs fornication with them, the merchants got rich off of her from her luxuries, and she misleads by her spiritistic practices. Revelation 18:22,23

I guess I won't get 10 points... not because my answer is wrong... it's very right, actually. But..... I'm sure you won't agree.

There is no God. No God existed to describe any country as Babylon.
