Does anyone know about the Healthy Start program through Medicade. I just wanted to know how long after you mail in your paperwork does it take for them to let you know if you are approved or not.

I think your application is good for 30 days. You can always call them and see if you are approved. They will tell you over the phone. If you are pregnant then you are already approved for it. They will also go back 30 days from the date of your application and pay your bills for you. Hope this helps.

Depends....they say two weeks. But I did my application at the Medicade Office on a thursday morning and friday afternoon my approval papers where in the mail. But I didn't actually get the card till 1 week later.

I'm from SC and I am pretty sure I got my paperwork in a week. It was a really quick turn around for me..

3 to 4 weeks with Christmas & New Years it may take a week or two longer
