Sounds like he's really wondering if you are interested in guys in general. If I were you I'd take sincere interest in him in some way. Perhaps he's in a sport that you could comment on. Or you see he is on some other committee or in a club. maybe even a youth group, i don't know. Just by simply showing him you have respect for yourself by not feeling you have to show him you're "bad" will put you above the rest. By showing interest in him he'll see that it's not only the looks of a person but actions outside or away from the opposite sex interest girls as well.
