Actually, if you are in the developer network you can get Release Candidates. Also, it is already out for businesses with bulk contracts, just not households.
I just saw a presentation by MS on Vista last week. It was pretty cool. The Aero feature is interesting with transparent window borders, 3D program shifting, dynamic icons, etc. Also, has some neat features such as a Start Menu instant search. However, if you are going to get it, use MS Vista Campatabiltiy checker to see if your PC can take it (Aero requires a really good video card). Get Premium Home and not Basic Home, otherwise you cannot get Aero, which is the coolest part I think.
I plan on waiting a little while for some bugs to get worked out before I dive in and get it, but it seems like a nice OS.

I used it at a demonstration and I wasn't all that impressed. I didn't see anything other than graphics that differed it much from XP, but of course I only had a few minutes to tinker with it.

I've used it, it's not bad. But once again Microsoft ripped of MAC. I would not go to it until is been out a year or more. Microsoft has a history of putting out software that is not ready.

It's not out yet. If I were you, I wouldn't buy it right away. It's a bad idea to get the first version of any Microsoft product.

i'm not confident yet once you've an iPod contact or an iPhone this is correct for your wifi bypass to settings>wireless>the blue arrow next for your router call, and its listed there. also i ought to quite recommende downloading comodo anti-virus once your norton runs out, its more advantageous suited and its loose.
