I've heard a lot about the chemical hair straighteners, similar to a perm only not curled on rollers. Do these work well for naturally curly/wavy hair?

It's good to straighten but it will damage and make your hair dry. Of course straightening irons can do the same thing. I would discuss my options with a good hairstylest because if your hair is perfectly healthy it may be a good option, but if it's dry and frizzy you'd be much better off not doing it.

Yes they do, but dont do it. I have naturaly curly hair and so did a friend of mine. And ever since we were kids we've always wanted straight hair, so my friend decided to get it thinking it would look great. MAn was she wrong. Her hair got straigh but it was really frizzy and damaged and it never was the same again. It's not that curly anymore its more wavy now but very frizzy than usual. Her hairstylist says that she will have to use alot of moisturing products and not color or put any chemicals in her hair for a few years to get it back the way it was.

Chemical Hair straighting is good for naturally curly/wavy hair. my hair is very curly and my hairstylist told me it would be a good alternative to straightening everyday

its probably da same but u would save more money if u buy a flat iron because when ur hair grows da roots r going 2 b curly n u would have 2 do da perm again...but if u have a flat iron u could just flat iron it n u would b wasting money

I would try using shampoo with panthenol (Pantene). That helps calm curly hair. And, I would invest in a ceramic iron that will straighten a crooked politician.

str8ten your hair is ok
ii str8ten mine
but ii dont do it all the time
becuase it really damages ur hair it makes it dry and fryed
if you want to str8ten it
put some oil to help so it wont fry it alot
it protects your hair a little
also try not to str8ten ut tips to much just glide right threw
it does help if u have curly hair ;]

it works good for some ppl.it works for me and it doesnt work for one of my friend.

no it totally frys your hair.... it allso makes it fall out......but if you own a straitner use it it works.....
