Political correctness has nothing to do with friendships. If your friends and yourself are not offended by the names you call each other then it is no one elses business.

I am not PC but there are certain words on the current vernacular that are truly hateful and the N word is one of them when said by White, Black, whatever. You and your friends should find a new word to call each other and leave this one alone, for no other reason then its the right thing to do.

If the parties involved are not offended then there is nothing wrong with it. As soon as people say it can't be said anytime anywhere we have entered into the realm of "thought crimes", which I find deplorable. Why ask anyone other than your friends if it is okay? What does anyone else have to do with it? If a tree falls in a forest...

No, you're only supposed to call each other honkies or crackers. Only Afro-Americans can call each other the "n" word and be politically correct. And they can also call whites honkies and crackers and be politically correct.

I do not think so. I think that is a horrible, hateful word and shouldn't be used by anyone.
