I hope you have better luck than I had . I was in yahoo chat and a women was telling me she had cancer and she had 2 checks on banks in the usa that no place in Africa would cash .She asked if she sent me the checks if I would cash them and western union her the money .I thought I would try to help and old woman that was sick so I said sure I would do it .It was about 2 weeks before I recieved these checks in the mail .But about every 2 days a guy that said he was her Dr. would call me saying she was worried about her money and he was afraid it was affecting her health . I kept telling him I hadnt recieved them ,But I knew something was up when he called so much .I got the checks 1 for $350 and 1 for $800 one was from some ones account in New Jersey and the other one on someones account in Florida .I knew that its very unlikely a woman in africa would know 2 people from the USA on both sides of the country I called a phone number on the checks which were on the chase bank .Some woman got the check numbers from me and said she would look into it and call me back .She never called back and the Dr. never called after that .I reported it to about 5 police agencies .I had the checks the persons email address the address she wanted me to western Union the money to .Not one
of the police agencies even returned my calls or emails . Mean while Im sure alot of people are getting robbed by these people that some how got thier bank account numbers and issuing checks on them . You can bet if I went out and cashed those checks they would be at my house before I even got home to throw me in jail for it . So good luck .

I don't know if there is much you can do about it.
I would try forwarding his contact info to sysadmin@yahoo.com, abuse@yahoo.com, postmaster@yahoo.com, but I am not sure it will accomplish anything.
