Because Bible Alone Dogma is man made. It is not found anywhere within the scriptures.

Besides Jesus taught by example with references to the Jewish Scriptures.

Bible Alone Dogma is way to legalistic, not in the traditions we are taught to uphold.

1 Cor 11:2 hold fast to traditions I handed on to you
2 Thes 3:6 shun those acting not according to tradition
Jn 21:25 not everything Jesus said recorded in Bible
Acts 20:35 Paul records a saying of Jesus not found in Gospel
2 Pet 1:20 no prophesy is a matter of PRIVATE interpretation
Rom 10:17 faith comes from what is heard
Mt 23:2-3 chair of Moses, observe whatever they tell you

Origen, in 230 AD wrote:
"The teachings of the Church has indeed been handed down through an order of succession from the Apostles, and remains in the Churches even to this present time. That alone is to be believed as the truth which is in no way at variance with ecclesiastical and apostolic tradition". Fundamental Doctrines 1, preface, 2.

The reformers pitted Tradition against the Bible, when in fact the Bible is Tradition in the strictest sense. Tradition does not mean less scripture, but more of it. Most non-Catholic Christians think Tradition equals empty ritual. This is false. Tradition can be traced back to the days of the Apostles. There is no Tradition that contradicts or competes with scripture. Some Traditions are explicit in scripture, such as the priests annointing the sick. Some are inferred, such as baptizing infants.

Traditions were believed and practiced by the early church before there was a Bible as we know it.

If every Bible in the world was to be destroyed, everything in it would be preserved in Sacred Tradition, which can never be destroyed. It's really a question of education.

II Thessalonians 2:15: "Therefore, brethren, stand fast, and hold the traditions which ye have been taught, whether by word, or our epistle."

Does not say "oral".

And it is only the "traditions" which they have been taught by the Apostles ...

The whole revelation given through the apostles. "Traditions" reach out to include policies and practices or procedures that the Bible does not specifically speak to. The apostle has the authority to establish them while he is God's apostle.

But only the Apostles; not apostolic succession nor so-called apostles by current denominations, etc.

Apostolic custom is what the recent testomony is a crystallization of in part.Jesus condemned employing mere human traditions and customs to interrupt the commandments and custom of God(Matt15:3& Mark7:9) . St Paul in Coll2:8 warns the honest against changing Apostolic custom and Jesus coaching from it( remember there is very very nearly no written parts of the NT at that timewith mere human traditions and tactics of thinking. In a million Cor11:2 fairly of telling believers only to tutor to the Bible(the previous testomony which grow to be no longer yet a volume between 2 covers yet disputed collections of scrolls)yet to persist with Apostolic custom(paradosis, that that's orally exceeded down). In 2 Thess2:15 Paul orders the church to maintain or carry quickly to the custom and in 2 Thess3:6 to steer away from the classes of people who do no longer persist with the custom. There may well be no Bible devoid of custom(Mosaic and Apostolic) and the ideal context of analyzing Scripture is in the custom by employing the authoritative Church, the Catholic Church, the mummy(and often grandmother and massive-grandmother) of all of the church homes.

Hard to say.

In the first few decades of Christianity it was all oral Tradition.

Then *some* of that was written down to constitute the New Testament that we have today (some of it was not).

Oral Tradition continues today as a stream of divine Revelation that is parallel to the Bible and which is as authoritative as the Bible.

Only *some* of Jesus' Revelation was recorded in writing.

What!!!! When was that book written??? How much of the Bible had been written then???
This book was written between 50-53, the Bible (NT) wasn't complete for nearly another 50 years.

Someone has put some nonsense in you head-you had better shake it out before it confuses you. This sounds awfully catholic.

to me Paul was referring to the revealed truth of Yahweh that contains no error.
This is what Paul had passed on to them. He had communicated some of Yahweh's truth when he was preaching among them, further truth by his first epistle, and now he was communicating more truth through a second letter. The new testament had not yet been wriiten, and the essential beliefs of the Christian faith were being communicated through the apostles preachong and letters. Having believed the truth, the Thessalonian believers were now to maintain it and stand fast in their faith.

NOT TRADITIONS OF MEN

Meaning the truths of the Gospel, which may be called traditions, because they are delivered from one to another; the Gospel was first delivered by God the Father to Jesus Christ, as Mediator, and by him to his apostles, and by them to the churches of Christ; whence it is called the form of doctrine delivered to them, and the faith once delivered to the saints: and also the ordinances of the Gospel which the apostles received from Christ, and as they received them faithfully delivered them, such as baptism and the Lord's supper; as well as rules of conduct and behaviour, both in the church, and in the world, even all the commandments of Christ, which he ordered his apostles to teach.

We are to hold to the teachings of Jesus Christ- that is what they are saying....so what are you asking exactly? Those who live by the word of God are following the teachings of Christ. James 1:22 says "Be a doer of the word and not just a hearer who deludes themselves"
