Oh a challenge!

'The conundrum as he saw it was the dilatory nature of the people present. There was a divergence of opinions that resulted in an incessant din combined with a few listless souls searching for any means possible to mar the proceedings. The end result being that nobody had managed to nullify the rampant sardonic arguing and an unerring ability to achieve nothing.'

I believe 'unerrig' was intended to be 'unerring'.
