I'm guessing you want a four door sedan, so first thing I'd get is a Subaru Legacy. They are probably one of the most underrated cars out on the market right now but they are great cars to drive, offer awd, and nice amenities like heated seats, power everything, a manual transmission if you want it, etc. A 2.5i is nice but the GT is the best you can get. Prices are very similar to Accords and Camrys.
The new Toyota Camrys have a throttle hesitation issue that there is no recall for yet, so I'd be wary of a Camry right now. Other than that, they are nice cars, but I like driving an Accord better - they handle better and offer a bit tighter ride - less floaty like a Buick like the Camry is. If you are looking exclusively between Accords and Camrys, I'd go with the Honda and save some money at the same time.
The new CRV is getting great reviews for a small SUV - its a unibody frame so its just like a tall Accord. I'd get a car over an SUV for safety and gas mileage, but if you need the extra room, an SUV or wagon is a good choice. The Subaru Legacy also comes as a wagon and has an Outback trim with higher ground clearance than normal Legacys.
Also, you may want to check out Car and Driver Magazine's 10 Best awards - the Accord is almost always chosen and is always chosen over the Camry. Of course, Camrys are the number one selling sedan in this country, so its not like you can make a wrong choice.

Hope this helps!

Although the Honda's design is getting long in the tooth, I would pick the Accord over the Camry because the Accord offers a better driving experience and better ergonomics.
My choices from the two brands are as follows...
1) Honda Civic (good looks, great economy, superb reliability)
2) Toyota Avalon (roomy, good economy, power, and brakes)
3) Honda S2000 (fast and fun)
4) Toyota Prieus (a fascinating state-of-the-art hybrid)
5) Honda Accord (a very good all-around performer)

That's like asking whether you should have white or wheat bread for dinner; they're the same boring thing. Don't disrespect yourself. Buy the BMW 3 series. A WHOLE LOT more car for a little more $$. You will never regret it, nor even DREAM of another rice mobile.
I've had about 5 Honda's and Toyotas. After my first BMW X3, I will NEVER buy another brand of vehicle unless I'm forced to by some dire circumstance. They are so much fun and will probably knock ten years off of your age, while inspiring you to live ten years longer.

A lot depends on your space requirements and the handling you prefer. I would lean towards the Camry becasue I've had several of them and like the ride and precise handling.
Which other Hondas or Toyotas to consider also depends on your requiements: use, cargo, driving condiditons, etc. I personally prefer AWD or 4WD vehicles over 2WD since we operate in the norther tier with lots of rain, ice and snow.
From a quality, reliability and resale perspective both Honda and Toyota are at the very top ov everyone's list.

As a ways as I recognise, whoever "hits" has the legal responsibility or is "at fault". In different phrases, coverage organizations and regulation enforcements point of view is, "If you're following the entire laws of the avenue and protection, there's by no means any rationale to hit whatever." Now, if there used to be ice at the avenue, that could atleast make matters lean extra for your want, however I consider you must have a image taken that day of the stretch of avenue you slid on. That's why they are saying you will have to continuously have atleast a disposable digital camera for your automobile to take a image of an twist of fate and twist of fate scene at the day of the twist of fate, at the side of a cellphone cellphone, your coverage understanding, driving force's license and registration. Hopefully you might have automobile coverage so we can pay even though it's your fault, or if no longer, plenty of peers and household so we can support you on this time of problem. There's plenty of different elements to remember: used to be both of the drivers riding even as impaired, or in a hurry, did both depart the scene of the twist of fate earlier than regulation enforecement arrived, what style of automobiles have been worried, did each have automobile coverage-dl license-registration-and so on... So expectantly, perhaps there may be different elements which can be for your want right here. In both case, it is a serious warning call to continuously force effectively and defensively and preserve as a lot house among you and different relocating automobiles or items as viable, have a seat belt on, and shouldn't have any distractions like being attentive to the radio, consuming, ingesting, speakme on a cellphone cellphone, and so on... I recognise all this considering I've been riding for years now, and feature simplest been in a couple of injuries. In each and every twist of fate besides one, any individual hit me and for a few rationale none of them even had a driving force's license!!!! In the twist of fate wherein I hit any individual, I rear ended any individual, identical to you probably did. So in view that I "hit", it used to be my fault, although the automobile in entrance of me stopped quick and relatively rapid, no longer giving me any time to quit. The simplest factor that stored me used to be that the automobile I hit left the scene of the twist of fate, and, from what I comprehend, it used to be a few style of coverage rip-off at the aspect of the opposite driving force.
