No offense, but what does it matter what the Bible says about gays? Love is love. Marriage is marriage. Family is family. A life is a life, controlled by you, not "conservatives"

If you are serious about this question, go to Biblegateway.com and link to a copy (King James, New International Version, American Standard, etc.) of The Holy Bible. (One of my favorites is The Message - easy to read) and open to Romans, chapter one, verse 26 and following I believe. There are many more references of course and if you are interested, you may follow links on the Biblegateway page to them.
Please don't engage in any arguments which will surely arise from your question as that is not God's purpose in having this written down. (nor mine in answering) He loves everyone absolutely the same!!

It is all homosexuality. And 1 Corinthians 6:8-10 says
9Do you not know that the unrighteous[b] will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor men who practice homosexuality,[c] 10nor thieves, nor the greedy, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God.

But here is another verse that pertains to ALL sexual desires for the same sex.
Jude 1:7
just as Sodom and Gomorrah and the surrounding cities, which likewise indulged in sexual immorality and pursued unnatural desire, serve as an example by undergoing a punishment of eternal fire.

Here is the verse on women: Romans 1:26
26Because of this, God gave them over to shameful lusts. Even their women exchanged natural relations for unnatural ones. 27In the same way the men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for one another. Men committed indecent acts with other men, and received in themselves the due penalty for their perversion.

No. man meant mankind, as in both. The Leviticus 18:22 thing means that if your male/female, you shall not lie with another male/female, respectively. Hope this helps!

Homosexual = Of, relating to, or having a sexual orientation to persons of the same sex. The term gay and lesbian is a cultural and social terms to discuss sexual matters. Men who lie with men and women who lie with women and having sexual intercourse are homosexuals because they like members of the same sex. PERIOD!

Leviticus 18:22 says, "You must not lie down with a male the same as you lie down with a woman. It is a detestable thing.”

Need I say more.

Here is another illustration pertaining to who's included and "who gets away scott free."

1 Timothy 2:9, 10 says "Likewise I desire the women to adorn themselves in well-arranged dress, with modesty and soundness of mind, not with styles of hair braiding and gold or pearls or very expensive garb, [v10] but in the way that befits women professing to reverence God, namely, through good works.

Does this scriptural principle only apply to women? Wouldn't the Bible writers and its inspirer be parital or biased?

The Apostle Peter said in Acts 10:34, 35 says, "for I perceive that God is not partial." So, that puts to rest the partiality aspect. Would that make sense to tell only women to be dignified in dress and apperance and not the males. Where would the logic be? Reading the Bible to see what it does not include is not reading it objectively.

The scriptures say that God hates a divorcing. Do the scriptures have to list every sort of divorcing that God despises. He despises all divorces.

The scritpures say in 1Cor.6:18 to flee from fornication. The Bible does not have to list every form of fornication because the Bible tells us that sex outside of marriage is wrong. PERIOD! END OF STORY!

ROMANS 1:26,27---For this cause God gave them up to their VILE AFFECTIONS; FOR EVEN THEIR WOMEN DID CHANGE THE NATURAL USE INTO THAT WHICH IS AGAINST NATURE:

And LIKEWISE ALSO THE MEN, LEAVING THE NATURAL USE OF THE WOMAN DID BURN IN THEIR LUST ONE TOWARD ANOTHER; MEN WITH MEN WORKING THAT WHICH IS UNSEEMLY...

Homosexuality includes BOTH as you can see by these verses.

Romans 1:32---Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of DEATH, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.

Easy:

(Ecclesiastes 7:26) "And I find more bitter than death the woman, whose heart is snares and nets, and her hands as bands: whoso pleaseth God shall escape from her; but the sinner shall be taken by her."

Lesbians don't even have a man to vaguely redeem them. They may never so much as open their mouths in church. To God they are all but dead.

(Ephesians 5:22) "Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body. Therefore as the church is subject unto Christ, so let the wives be to their husbands in every thing."

So in other words, they are completely out of luck.

No, there is sufficient evidence in other parts of the Bible about lesbians as well. And with that, those Laws that were written always used "man" as a reference, but it refered to everyone, man and woman alike. Otherwise, there would be twice as many laws as there are. Even with laws of murder, in most Bibles it will refer to as a man killing another man, but it means a woman as well.

The guys who wrote the Bible didn't really give women enough freedom to consider alternative lifestyles. They were more a possession of their husbands and fathers than human beings.

Why do people follow that thing anymore? Sure it had a few good concepts, but a lot of crazy bad ones.

I thought you might like to see it in simpler language. From "The Message":

Rom 1:21 What happened was this: People knew God perfectly well, but when they didn't treat him like God, refusing to worship him, they trivialized themselves into silliness and confusion so that there was neither sense nor direction left in their lives.
Rom 1:22 They pretended to know it all, but were illiterate regarding life.
Rom 1:23 They traded the glory of God who holds the whole world in his hands for cheap figurines you can buy at any roadside stand.
Rom 1:24 So God said, in effect, "If that's what you want, that's what you get." It wasn't long before they were living in a pigpen, smeared with filth, filthy inside and out.
Rom 1:25 And all this because they traded the true God for a fake god, and worshiped the god they made instead of the God who made them--the God we bless, the God who blesses us. Oh, yes!
Rom 1:26 Worse followed. Refusing to know God, they soon didn't know how to be human either--women didn't know how to be women, men didn't know how to be men.
Rom 1:27 Sexually confused, they abused and defiled one another, women with women, men with men--all lust, no love. And then they paid for it, oh, how they paid for it--emptied of God and love, godless and loveless wretches.
Rom 1:28 Since they didn't bother to acknowledge God, God quit bothering them and let them run loose.
Rom 1:29 And then all hell broke loose: rampant evil, grabbing and grasping, vicious backstabbing. They made life hell on earth with their envy, wanton killing, bickering, and cheating. Look at them: mean-spirited, venomous,
Rom 1:30 fork-tongued God-bashers. Bullies, swaggerers, insufferable windbags! They keep inventing new ways of wrecking lives. They ditch their parents when they get in the way.
Rom 1:31 Stupid, slimy, cruel, cold-blooded.
Rom 1:32 And it's not as if they don't know better. They know perfectly well they're spitting in God's face. And they don't care--worse, they hand out prizes to those who do the worst things best!
