Hi i am trying to find any info for my introduction, its on effects of peeling in food industry. I have scanned the net but not much luck there. Im guessing im looking for reasons .eg. convenience, safety precautions, etc. Or the process .eg equipment used

you could also bring in the effects on the nutritional value of food that has been peeled. e.g. i seem to remember that potatoes have the greatest amount of vitamin C just under the skin so peeling them reduces the Vitamin C content though I am unsure about other fruits & veg. If you want a well rounded essay you would also bring in the other reasons you have mentioned.

Wow....could you have found a more obscure subject to write about? LOL I looked and can't find anything. This is where you start writing things like: Peeling is bad. You should not peel because it is not good......until you get a page full of mumbo jumbo
