well, centrillusion provided a completely useless answer. clearly, he doesnt understand what its like to be self conscious and is more keen on judging.

i watched a plastic surgery show where someone had this done. He didnt seem to have much of a problem. People were usually up within a day of the surgery. Im sure theres a little bit of pain associated.

The average otoplasty cost for operating room fees ranges from $650 to $1850.

Cost is going to vary depending on your surgeon. It's a pretty simple procedure and can be done several ways. The most invasive, which involves some resection of the pinna, lobe, and skin, takes a week or so to recover from totally. It's a small incision and not too traumatic to tissue.

You have just baffled me with a cosmetic surgery that I have never heard of anyone wanting.

If you don't have the look you want, why would you want to change? It's natural to look the way you do.

Edit: I know what it is like to be self conscious, but the thing I have against it is if I am meant to look like this, I'm not going to trust a doctor with a blade to "fix" me; I'm going to accept myself for what I am, not for what I want to look like. This is why I don't agree with magazine advertisements; the "beauty" is either doctored with a computer or surgery.

My name is spelled "centrilius"
