Literal translation would be pista y campo
track sports = deportes de pista
but campo while you use in for example:
magnetic field = campo magnético
field marshal = mariscal de campo
in athletics (atletismo) there is nothing called pista y campo.

el atletismo - athletics. They don't (as far as I know) use the same terminology 'track and field'
